Canadian Winter Sports

As a Canadian boy, I do a lot of winter sports. Here are some of the sports I did during the Christmas holidays at Big White in Kelowna, British Columbia. I skied with my mom’s friends and their kids. The two kids’ names were Bjorn and Marin. They were great skiers.

Take a look at the snow ghosts behind me – they were everywhere! Would they scare you?

The next activity was tubing on the big hill. Bjorn and I were holding on tight to each other’s tube, but when we spun around, he let go and we were both on our own.

Then, we went skating at night, we also played hockey. We had so much fun!

The most amazing activity was ice climbing – it was a first for me. It was really scary. My sister almost made it to the top of the ice tower.

The best activity was tobogganing on the ski hills to the village. We went super fast and out of control!

Winter is my favorite season because you can ski, skate and slide. Big White was the best ski trip ever! It is great to live in a winter country like Canada!
